Day Ten: A Quick Trip to Oklahoma

This morning was a cool 56 degrees!  Beautiful and sunny so we decided to drive the 30 minutes to Oklahoma.  Nowhere in particular but we needed to find a Wal-Mart anyways for a few supplies.

Oklahoma wasn't anything spectacular I could report.  I missed the Welcome sign.........and the Wal-Mart we stopped at in Sallisaw, OK, nothing fancy, but a dozen eggs were $.51!  OMG that is so cheap!  At home they are about $1.59.  Milk was cheaper but everything else about the same.

Oklahoma
We can say we've been to Oklahoma now!

I was glad to get back to Arkansas
By the time we got back from our little trip to Oklahoma, the weather warmed up to a beautiful 80 degrees so we took a dip in the pool at the campground.  It's $5 per person and the pool is big.

Current situation!
Shishkabobs on the grill is one of our favorites!  Steak, chicken & vegetables.  Yummy!  Dear Hubby keeps us "grill happy"!

Girl M. has taken over Dear Hubby's fishing pole and now has fish fever!  The dogs and I tagged along to take pictures.  It did not disappoint!

Who can fish with scenery like this?
The one time Girl M. let Dear Hubby have the pole!

Fishing
Boat dock and pier across the lake.

Girl M. caught about seven or eight fish.  All about this size!  She was happy though!

Dinner?
I had the best seat while they were fishing.  There were hummingbirds all in this tree.  I wasn't quick enough to get a photo of them.

Hummingbird hideout
We spotted a small doe on our way back to our campsite.

Tomorrow we'll be headed toward Hot Springs, AR.

Until then....................................
