Turkish Towels

I've been trying to "lighten" the load for our upcoming trip.  I've thought about purchasing some turkish towels.  We usually just grab the towels from our house bathroom but I realized how much room they take up in the closet & how long they take to dry.

Turkish Towel

I'm sure quality it a main factor to these type of towels.  But when you have to purchase off of Amazon you can't really feel the difference.

I really don't want to have to stop on our 16 day trip to do laundry.  But I also don't want buzzards flying over our camper from NOT doing laundry either!  LOL!

If you have any suggestions or comments about turkish towels, please let me know.

Throwback Thursday Our First RV

Our very first RV.  In 2003 we bought a Four Winds 5000 Class C.  I think it might have been a 1997, but I'm not sure.  We drove that thing everywhere. One of our longest trips was to Washington DC from Florida.  3 kids and a dog.  I think we kept it for about  two years.  I don't remember being crowded but we thought we needed something bigger.

The previous owners turned the over the cab bed into an entertainment/storage area.  They did a great job on the woodworking & the kids loved watching TV while driving.

This RV was in perfect condition and never gave us any trouble.  One time in South of the Border, SC, the power steering belt broke but Dear Hubby found an Auto Zone, pulled us in, and fixed it on the spot.  Easy enough.

1st RV

We made lots of memories in this RV.  I remember kids watching Toy Story and Smokey & The Bandit on the VCR while driving.

Boy F. jumped from dinette to sofa and fell out of the door. Lots of tears and a few bruises.

Holding the sofa up in the bed position at night with the trash can so Girl M wouldn't fall out.

Lost our sewer hose on I-95 in South Carolina, sorry whomever we whacked with it!

The boys liked to fish and I thought one of them hid bait in there while we were traveling and it ended up being Dear Hubby's stinky boat shoes.

Worms escaped from their cup in the fridge and were all over the sodas

Potty training Girl M. in the bathroom while Dear Hubby was driving.  (We didn't even use a carseat!)

The kids said they remember lots of fishing & Dear Hubby making them donuts from canned biscuits.

Such sweet memories!

Until next time.................
